HHO Torches Once widely used among welders in the early 1900's, HHO gas torches are making a comeback! Welders who've experimented with the design, find that using HHO, as opposed to Acetylene gas, is safer, more efficient, less expensive and up to 30% faster. Since building an HHO torch is fairly easy, we expect this idea to go a long way. Not only for welders, but for jewelry designers and glass blowers, as well.

Testing Positive
Since early this year, the City of Beloit, Wisconsin has been testing HHO as a fuel additive in six of its city-owned vehicles, to largely positive results! With technical support provided by Leo with L2 Hybrids, the majority of the vehicles are equipped with a kit consisting of EBN 6" Dry Cells and Hydroxy Technologies' HHO VMU's (vehicle management units). The kits have been installed on police squad cars, maintenance pickup trucks, and garbage trucks in the hopes of reducing fuel costs and emissions - saving the city money and helping to clean up the environment. Testing will conclude in about three months. If all continues to go well, the city plans to equip about half their fleet with HHO kits using federal stimulus money.
